I’ve been MIA for quite sometime but I have been working several projects. Last summer I shot photos of potted petunias that were on my front porch. The photos were so nice I thought it would make a great quilt.  I’ve done the basic layout here.

I also needed to do a test of the thread painting. So, I took several left over flowers and fused them to a black fabric. I think they are coming along very nicely.
