Hi Everyone, No I haven’t fallen off the earth. I’ve just been swamped with family issues. It seems that everyone in my family is ill. One sister sick with a rare blood cancer, another sister ill with MS and a mother-in-law having a recent stroke. Unfortunately, I haven’t had time to sew or quilt since before Christmas. Hopefully, everything will calm down in the next week or so and I will have time to go into my studio.
Creating fiber art through quilting allows me to stretch my artistic talents with all the possibilities of fabric while also enjoying the calming, meditative effects of stitching. I capture moments in time—a flower at the height of its bloom or the split second when an animal is still.
