This Saturday I finally got to take a class with one of my favorite quilter’s, Karen Stone. Her lecture to our guild was so much fun and she was so funny. You can tell she loves quilting…it shows. (Actually, the last few speakers we’ve had have been so funny…did they do stand-up at some point in their life?)
Karen’s workshop was fabulous. I learned so much about color from her. I really felt like I made a hugh leap forward with color. And, I’m happy to say that I match fabrics/colors almost the same way she does. Karen also showed us her technique for paper-piecing. This was very helpful. I learned so much. Thanks Karen! And, thanks for posing with me for a picture. Hope you will come back to Charlotte again soon.
